Default 2015 Fall Fishing Report "Final Chapter"

It's been a great fall for fishing. A lot of crappie have been caught by a lot of excellent crappie fishermen/women. On the 12th I got back out on the water. Just so happened that Earl was on the water that day with 2low@8. I texted Earl to see if they were catching anything. As soon as he texted me back I put my first 2lber of the year in the boat. To make a long story short, the next 5 text I received from him I put 5 crappie in the boat ranging from 1lb 8oz to 1lb 12oz. I told him he was going to have to stop, or he was going to sink my boat. It was nice meeting you 2low@8. Hope to see you out there again. Finished the day with 22. Here is the pic from that day.

Got back out on the 12th and caught the limit and the large fish was 1lb 12ozs.

On the 15th and 16th me and Quick teamed up again. We caught 35 on the 15th and they were given away at the ramp. On the 16th we took off to the Hill. Got there at day break and got skunked until 10:00 when we put the boat on the trailer. We stopped at Oconee on the way back, started fishing at 12:30, and by the time we left we had 31 keepers.

The water has started to warm back up because of the mild temperatures and the bigger fish are going back to playing hide and seek. It's been a great fall season for me. ALL the fish will be going to good uses. I donate any extra fish I have for fund raisers that help juvenile diabetes, fund raisers at churches, and other social events. NO, NONE, NADA, of the fish are wasted. Hope to see everyone this spring on the water. Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy new Year.

Doug, I have enjoyed your reports and pictures recapping the Fall at Oconee. Looking forward to your Winter reports. Hope to have a few too! It is always great to see you on the water. Here is the pic of what we caught from that day. Our largest was not quite 1 3/4 pound. We caught around 60 and kept 30 goood uns.Name: OCONEE DONN 12-11-15.jpg
