We had two pretty good days this weekend to fish. Took us a long time to get to where we wanted to fish on Saturday morning as the fog was VERY thick. I took a co-worker and his daughter with me today. We ended the day with 15 keeper crappie and a very happy little girl! Fishing was quite a bit slower than last Sunday, but we still had a great day.
Sunday - I was back out by myself and managed 25 nice crappie. Presentation was much the same as last Sunday - pushed jigs tipped with minnow in 3 FOW. I did find most of my larger fish in about 4 to 5 FOW. Grabbed the first five out of the bucket for the photo below. I had bigger fish, but my wife said I needed to hurry, so no pictures of the biggest ones. Oh, and the water had increased in temperature this week. Last week, it was around 50, and both Saturday and Sunday, it was around 55. Lake level down just a bit from last week.
This will be my last time out until after the holidays, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All!!
