Great Day on Oconee 12/3/15 Report

Kowboy and I went to Oconee today. Kowboy pushed 8 rods out of the front and also fished 4 of my long line rods that were in the front rod holders. I long lined 6 rods out the back. We started fishing at 7:30 and quit at 3:30. We kept 54 nice fish. I would estimate that 3/4 of the fish we kept were 12 inches or better and we both caught a couple of 14 inchers. The bite was steady all day and the popsicle curly tail () was the best producer early. It was a cloudy, cool day and the water temperature was 57.7. We caught most of the fish in 23-28 FOW trolling at .8-1.0. There was very little boat traffic. I did see one boat and that joker had a long net sticking up in his boat. I got as close to him as I could and started fishing. I take my own advice. Never seen him before. Just kidding.
