My 80-year young daddy and I fished GA Little River on Friday and it did not disappoint. Got to the first drop around 9am, and did not get a bite on what normally is a good spot this time of year. Was slow on the next several stops as well, but started to pick up a bit as the day went on. Fished until 2pm and had a box of 45 solid keepers. Great example of why it pays to stay optimistic and keep moving until you find fish that will cooperate. Most fish were suspended on old wood in 20-25 feet. Caught 80% on minnows, rest on jigs cast and reeled back slow. Picture is of daddy with one that went a smidgen over 2#. We had 4 like that one and a bunch in the 1-1.5# range. Water temp was 59 with a good stain from all the recent rain.
