    Default Lake Blackshear Report w/pics

Got on the water just after day break. The fish biting slow but steady. I had the limit around 10am. Cought all of them shooting docks. Also cought them with a R.A.G. Fly jig of course and the 2 colors I used was a chartruse head/pearl white body/chartruse tail and the other color was red head/green body/yellow tail. They were under 2 shallow water docks and one deep water dock.Name: BIG Fish 001.jpg

Sorry but I put the wrong pic of the jig I used. While its there , that jig was made for a close friend of mine from Illinois. You will notice the name inside the body of the jig. I have only done this for 4 close friends cause its a very hard process.

No I don't mind sayinmg one bit. One of the shallow water docks was in on past the tram road in Cedar creek and the other shallow water dock was close to the Park. The deep water dock was a little bit south of Lincoln Pinch.

Ok, thanks for the help Rusty. Also what is going on with the fish right now. Are the females up shallow now also or are they still staging in the creeks/creek mouths????

From what I cought yesterday I would say that a few of the females have moved in but the hight of the spawn is yet to come. I think this weekend will be the start of the full on spawn. I also feel that there is still alot of them staging at the creek mouths.
