Thread: Good trip, no fish... Report

Got caught up on work so drove to Harding yesterday evening for a much needed break to do some night fishing with my 12 yr old and a friend of mines son who is about to go off to college. As we were unstrapping the boat I got a feeling someone was watching me. Looked over my shoulder and this appeared out of nowhere, fast. Spent the next two hours sitting in the truck waiting the storm out, eating a bucket of chicken and discussing an older mans past and two young mens future. Never even put the boat in. For some reason this trip seemed like a success to me....
