    Default Lake Oconee 5/15/15

Kowboy and I pushed and pulled on Oconee today. We caught 45-50 crappie and kept 28 that were 10 inches or longer. We also caught at least a dozen catfish. The largest catfish, pictured below, was approximately 10 pounds and was caught on a crappie jig. We caught the fish in or adjacent to timber. The best colors were: black/blue/char; john deere; tiny flukes and red/yellow/char tube jigs.

We worked for them. If you stay there long enough eventually they will go to biting!
