Kissimmee Kowboy and I fished Oconee today. We started the day trolling and had very little success. We marked several fish but could not get them to cooperate. After lunch we started shooting docks and managed to land a few decent fish with the biggest being a 14 incher caught by Kowboy. We found several docks that held fish but could not catch more than two fish at any dock. There were several "throwbacks". We worked hard and only kept 7 fish. Still learning!

Hotwater you did better than we did Friday 4-24, all we caught was bluegill and hybrids and got my big ears burned by 3pm, haven't learned to shot docks yet, tried but just no good at it. So switched to pontoon and went night fishing in stumps down toward dam anchored in 40 fow. Caught 49 by 1am Sat and had to leave as a storm was showing at Milledgeville and coming fast, big fish 15 in and 37 over 10 in, mother in law had ordered me to bring her some whole fryers so I kept her a dozen.
Thought aliens were landing about midnight, guys were Bow fishing and as the bright lights were coming around point shining thru tree and the boat fan was very loud, first time we ever saw that at night on Oconee. We really enjoyed the show.
that guy woke me Up!!! I dint know what he %*(*#& was going on! 2000 watts of lights lit up my bedroom at 1:30 am...could hear the generators running on the boat! And I have a guy at Sugar creek that's running an airboat from time to time...TALK ABOUT some NOISE!!!!

Yes sir they were bright and loud.
The guys we saw had a hybrid boat, outboard on back for traveling then had a large fan mounted in the back pedestal hole for fishing the shallow water, that was remote controlled from front deck. Three bowman shooting and whooping, generators whining, what a site. I have a MP4 vid, but haven't figured out how to load, must have to convert or something.
