Default A little help on Oconee.

Hey guys, comin over from the Wilmington, NC to do some crappie and possibly striper fishing around the 21st til Thanksgiving. Any input on areas would be much

appreciated. Not lookin for gps locations (lol) just what creeks may be better than others. Thinkin about fishing brush and maybe bringing the long poles? Thanks for any help.

There was a Crappie Tournament at Oconee this past weekend. I did not fish it. i was told most folks were pushing minnows in and around submerged timber and manmade brush piles. Maybe some of the guys that fished the tourny can point you in the right direction. I have been deer hunting and have not fished Oconee in several weeks. Good luck.

Lick creek will be a good place to start for crappie. Work your electronics until you see the timber and drop those minnows.
