Hill Fishing Great This Fall
My dad and I fished GA Little River on Thursday and boxed up 44 solid slabs in 4 hours of fishing. Fished minnows over old timber in roughly 20 feet, with most fish suspended from 12-15'. Fish were aggressive and fought as hard as any crappie we have ever caught. Nice slabs that were exceptionally thick and healthy, all keepers from 0.75-1.5 lbs.. Water temp was 70 degrees, and fishing should only get better as it continues to cool down. Marked a ton of bait all over that arm of the lake. As a bonus, leaves are starting to turn and the lake scenery is starting to get really nice.
