Blackshear 10-10-14

Went to Blackshear Friday and started fishing around 8:00 and fished til around midnight. My partner caught a 13 incher on the second light we hit, only wound up with 13 but all were decent sized fish. Fished the east side of the lake north of Cedar Creek in 17-22 ft. of water. Fished seemed to move up in the water column as it got later.

Glad you got to try it Friday night. Saturday wasn't any better either. All we got was a nice suntan again. Water was 78 and we only had six fish over 10. We caught maybe 20 more small fish. We trolled the same ledges as last week and the fish weren't bunched up on piles like they were. Maybe it will start cooling back down this week. Oh and welcome to the board.
