Default Oconee First Day of Fall

We waited for a thunderstorm to pass before launching yesterday morning and finally got on the water a little after 8:00 a.m. It was cloudy all day and rainy most of the morning. The water temperature was 80 degrees when we launched. We pushed minnows in 15-25 feet of water and kept 20 crappie that were 10 inches or better. The fish seemed a bit more aggressive than they were a couple of weeks ago. Hobo was fishing nearby and he caught 26 and kept 12. Things are looking up!
