    Been getting ready for Crappie Season.....even went and trolled this morning.......want be long.

    Well sometimes the fish like the extra flash that the blade gives. The pony's run little shallower than same size jig. I fish with them all the time at Talquin. Got a friend been catching lots of good bream on smaller version with #6 hook. Several local tournament fishermen use them so they must work at times. With the pony's you can change color of jig just as easy as regular jighead. Other than that, it's just another way to catch Crappie, Bream, Bass, Catfish, and Hybrids and just about any fish that chases shad.

    For me, Crappie season begins Jan 16th and ends April 10th. Unless I go night fishing but done got too old and sickly to do that.

    No, I gave up after couple years trying and the investment of buying 100,000. Received some about year ago, but they were not what I ordered.....sent back and cancelled order.
