Hartwell Question
I will be visiting Lake Hartwell again. My wife's family lives around Lavonia. I have caught bass out of that part of the lake but hardly any crappie. Is there a place around the Lavoni area to catch crappie? I am a shore fisherman

Horrible luck the last two days in the Gumlog creek part of the lake. Cant fish that far away from that spot. I would like to know where Dover Run is. Thanks. I am just a bank fisherman, I do have access for today and tomorrow to a boat with no electronics on it. Any information would be greatly appreciated

I dont ever see much at all about Hartwell. There are a few of the SC boys that fishes it on their side of the lake (out of boats) and they catch some crappie. Now theyre telling me the fish have moved to deeper brush. Not sure where you can get on deep brush from the bank though. A boat without electronics is like fishing in the dark without lights. Sorry I wasnt any help.:o
