Going to St Johns river (Astor) Paramores Camp is where we are staying this weekend 16 yrs straight, never troll down there always cork & hooked it for Brim with Pa n Law, Troll up here in GA any advise on where start on river

You can catch specs in any hole with trees or brush but you got to be there at first light. When the sun gets up they stop biting. There is two deep holes tween you and lake george that will work with minnows on the bottom.
Don't forget to try the pilings under the 40 bridge.
