Sugar Creek 3/31/14

[Hotwater]

We fished from 8:15 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. We caught 30 crappie and one striper. The fish were not locked in on any one pattern. We were pushing jigs and caught fish on: acid rain, popsicle, blk/blu/char, STB grub, Rusty Parker and watermelon/char slider. The bite was best from around 11:00 until 1:00. The fish moved a bit farther back up the creek as the day got later. We are going again today and will post results.

My boy and I fished Apalachee on Oconee with about the same results. We left with 31. Best bite was 7:30-10:30. Slowed from 10:00 to 1:30.Colors were about the same.
