    Had some help from a friend, we did both spider rigging and longlining, it was his first time long lining and he did an excellent job with both techniques. All fish were 11 inches plus. Biggest we had was around 1.5lb. The spider rigging was good in the early morning and the long lining bite got good about two hours before sunset. There was one fellow that got in a nest of pigs fishing in the same area. They were bruisers. He had four that were around 2lbs or better.

    Country, you a STUD! Y'all stayed out till dark. I know that bite on those flats was going to go off. It did the same the day before. I was so tired I couldn't stand up any longer. I was glad when the customers said they were happy and ready to go. BUT I was almost tempted to run back up and stay there. Glad y'all got on them. I think Darth Vader (crappie daze) has just about forced me into long lining for customers. This customer spider rig gig is killin me . It was good to see Capt Quick out there. His beard is the same color of my hair.

    now if I can convert Nelms to try the dark side...I've done something! I tell ya..it's about the best there is for customers when they can be caught that way...no bait...no missin fish much...I had two young guys in the boat yest afternoon that caught 30+ and kept 22 from 4pm-7:30....not to shabby for a quick pm trip...
