Went to Oconee Sat & Sun and caught a few but not until after the wind and water temps chased me all over the lake and I finally came to conclude I'd better longline...but not before burning up the whole day Saturday trying to get the bite spiderriging and looking for fish that would not be where I would venture off to. Quite a few anglers experienced the Oconee blues them blues that I know quite well. On Oconee sometimes you are the bug and sometimes you are the windshield. The fish are ready to drop the load and if nature keeps it up the spawn will be in the lake and not in most creeks. It's like the fish met an invisible wall in lick creek and would not venture beyond the gas pumps because the further to the back of the creek you went the colder the water got and the clock is winding down and if the temps in the lake get there first that is where I believe they will make a deposit
