Default Single or double for spider rigging.

I usually stick to single hook with minnow below a 1/2 oz bullet weight and swivel rather than rigging doubles cause it's such a pain keeping all those lines from tangling when moving to a new spot. I would appreciate tips on how you guys rig lines or organize to avoid the mess.

There's a couple youtube videos on how to wrap your dmr around your pole. I hook my top hook on to my bottom eye of pole then tighten line until taught. Then hook bottom hook/jig into foam of handle. If you dont want to destroy your foam, you can buy these rubber rings that are used for hook/lure keepers. Then I like to hold the 3 way swivel and twist the pole wrapping the line around it until it is tight and hook around the eye above the bottom eye of rod. Okay, did anyone understand the words that just came outta my mouth?!

I wrap the bottom hook around the base of the reel and then hook it to the top hook. Tighten up the slack and then wrap line around the pole 3 or 4 time and lock behind the second eye from the reel.

Buy a big bag of rubber bands. The band is for the 2nd hook.

I use the rubber bands from the newspaper. They are free and are heavy duty compared to most rubber bands.
