been fishing west point for a few weeks now and the only fish i have managed was 2 crappie fishing off rocky point pier (go figure) and 2 stripers caught on different trips. Not a single crappie caught by boat yet. Maybe this weekend i can get out there and yield some crappie.

Anyone here fish west point have any tips? I have been fishing veasey creek been thinking about running up to wehadkee but dont know much about up that way

All my trips to west point have been trial an error a lot of running different creeks an finding the fish its a big place but once you find them its on

for me the best bite has been yellow jacket creek and the 109 bridge

The crappie are ready and it will only get better for the next few weeks. Troll Wilson Creek and Wedhakee. All the creeks will have fish in them but you will have to weed through some small ones.
