Next week looks like it might happen. Dad caught some on Sunday (the 9th) and a few of em had eggs. At some point bio-clocks gonna take over despite water temps but next week might be just right for both.

Dad and I caught 64 up river last Sunday. Water temps in the 46-48 degree range. No giants but some decent fish. The bigger fish will show up in the next week or so.
Stratos285 I promise I won't tell anybody where those docks are if you'll take me.
now Scott how would i ever beat you if i did that, can't beat you many times only chance i have is if there is tournament quality fish under docks so i better pass on this one..
I put in at the bridge in Franklin and went as far as Snake Creek. There is plenty of water right now. It has gotten low only a couple times this winter but the rain has kept it up (and muddy) for the most part. It is really varying at any given time and it is best to check the gauge in Franklin before you go. Anything above 10 ft and you are good..around 9 ft and it gets hairy in a few spots.
I would think Ringer and GA would be fine for the rest of the spring to be honest.
Fished yesterday (2.16.14). Water was still real cold (49 is the highest we found). Fished north of highland to start - river channel was a mine field of boat killing stumps, railroad ties, and tree trunks. Moved down lake in search of cleaner and warmer water. Found both (marginally) but never found fish. Saw a few others trolling/pushing but no one catching. Bait wasn't in the right spots and we couldn't find any good marks shallow. Hopefully this warm weather gets back on track.
Anyone do anything on W.P. yesterday? Was that Ringer bite on at all? Im assuming the river was NASTY up there.
