    Default St John Today

On our bucket list this trip was to catch Crappie(Specs) in Dead Lake, Crescent Lake, and the St John. Today we completed the list and hit the River in Astor. Same story there as it was the AM bite. The prime feeding time this week was from 9 to 1030AM. Some fish were just outside the bonnets and some were in shallow. It was 62 degrees in the river. All were slam full of eggs.

Beautiful fish, Danbo. I used to fish down there out of the "Jungle Den". I love it when they get black.
