The Lord sure did Bless him to be alive and to be able to keep trying for as long as he did in the cold water.
Wow, The Good Lord was not ready for him. I have always been concerned about heading my head is I fell out of a boat. This time of year with all the cloths we have on and the water temps it would be really bad to fall overboard. Be safe!
Thanks for posting this Tom. My partner and I used to wear our life jackets anytime the motor was running and now I am convinced to go back to doing it again and will always hook up the kill switch.
wow this is an eye opener of a story, I am just like lots of othersdont wear mine most of the time
You think that will never happen to me then it does, I usually wear my kill switch never wear a life jacket bet I will next time I'm out.

lucky man, but no way would i go out in a 14ft jon boat in 4 ft seas to begin with.. same thing happened a few years back on lake kissimmee and the guy treaded water all night until they found him at day break,he was wearing a jacket but all that did was keep him bobbing on top for the gators. he was lucky as God was with him too, he made it also.
