Thread: LED -VS-Coleman Thursday Night

Fred and I went for meat Thursday by trolling for catfish and we got MEAT. We cleaned the cats, rested and got ready for night time crappie. We started over our number one Sinclair hole (50 FOW over cover) with the LED light switched on around 845PM. We fished until midnight. We did not see any baitfish and we only caught 3 small specs. We picked up and moved 300 yards to our number 2 spot in 45 FOW. This time we only put out the Coleman. About 0115PM we saw the baitfish and we caught specs but most were small. I also tried one of Shine Runner's glitter bugs (My Name). I tipped one of his bugs with a minnow and fished it tight line next to a plain minnow. The bug tipped caught 3 to 1 compared to the plain minnow.

We will try this again in two weeks and reverse the time frames and see what happens. Test one, the Coleman is still the Kang.

That peanut butter pie is got to be a sin!
