Fished Sinclair a week ago and it was pitiful. Fished Oconee today (shooting docks) and it was amazing. I always gasp everytime the fish on the end of my line reaches the top of the water. They are always HUGE and HEALTHY. Got on the lake about 6:30 and had 14 HUGE (tangerine size mouth) by dark. I had forgotten my net so I was sweating bullets trying to lip them using 2lbs. test line. Caught a few dinks, but my favorite docks produced some monsters. Gave them away to a couple of guys fishing for "anything that would bite". Man it felt great being on the water again. Fin-S Balzy Blue was once again the color for lake Oconee. I always do best with jigs with blue and black in them when fishing Oconee. What a great day!
