    Default Pflueger Trion

Does anyone use Pflueger Trion reels? I am having problems with line twist. I have tried spooling the line on differently but it does not help. I have never had this problem before I started using these reels. Thanks for any help.

I back spooled mine halfway with old line and electrical tape. It seemed to help some. I still like them for shooting docks. Have you ever used the Pflueger President?

Not to good. We fished from 4 till 7:30 and only kept 22. Longlined two new areas. The size was disappointing.

I Love the Pflueger President reels. Have not had any problems with them. Last month I bought 2 of the new Wally Marshall spinning reel and so far it has been a fantastic reel. The spool is a little smaller than what I'd like to have for long lining but the 6 ball bearing design makes it a top of the line reel for me...Can't beat it for the price!!!

It's the Wally Marshall Signature Series 50..Great little reels with 6 ball bearings..Cast and retrieve great, and I like the way the drag works on it. Although I haven't checked into it yet, he probably has another reel with a little bit larger spool. I tried some of his reels 2-3 years ago and they were pieces of junk...These are top notch and affordable.

i know there cheap but i like the pinnacle tiny deadbolt, i use em for shootin docks, trollin, jiggin, dippin minnas whatever the task may be. they havnt let me down yet. i think they only got 4 bearing in em but there still pretty smooth. ive used the same ones for the past 3 years with no problms. just food for thought
