Went out with my dad yesterday. He had just caught about 50 keepers on Wednesday. We didn't see quite those numbers but it was a good day. We fished about 4 to 5 feet off the banks with minnows. Had a few bass mixed in and even a little cat fish but caught about 20 crappies. I kept some of the bigger ones in the live well just so we could compare who had the biggest one. I ended up draining the water, taking a picture and tossing them back for another day. Only bad thing was when we first got there we were trying to back into our hole and another boat cut us off and threw anchor about 10 yards from us. I voiced my displeasure and then let my poles do the talking. We put about 5 keepers on the boat and they hadn't got a bite. That's karma for ya! Here's the live well with some of the bigger ones.
