    Default blackshear fishing report

I want to know about the fish on blackshear. Are they doing anything, and if so how deep anr what colors? I know that they were catching some but I haven't been able to fish. I think next week should be a good time to start.

thanks for the info. My fishing buddy and I are planning on going up to blackshear on friday the 4th ,can you tell me anything about the fishing other than to use one of the funky jigs? I have heard some good reports about lake talquin but I haven't heard anything about blackshear which is only 30 miles away.

The crappie have been on fire at Blackshear the last week or so. I had one of my best day yet this past Monday. Cought around 45 and kept 30 really nice slabs with the largest at 14in. Cought all of them shooting docks. The surface temp has been around 60 to 63 degrees. The hottest color is still the R.A.G. Fly bubble gum which is chartruse head/pink body/chartruse tail. Good luck.
