    Unhappy spiderman vs. SKILL SAW

I was going to spiderman's house last night to pick up some jig heads and the phone rang...UH>>>I'm not going to be there...surgery in a few mins!!! WHAT???? It seems that a finger is no match for a skill saw!!!! Got about 1/2" off his ring finger...Left hand I assume...After much thinking and testing..I have determined that it has absolutely no use to set the hook, bait the rigs, drive the boat, or any other major task to do with crappie fishing....SO all is well!

He said that when he got home the place was taped off like a homicide scene by crime dog...I knew that dog was watching too much CSI !!!

Get well soon buddy! Could have been worse!

Spiderman, if they didn't sew the part of your finger you cut off back on, you should make it in to a jig. That would be cool. You could use a red sickle hook and of course it would be a flesh color jig with a red head. Nobody else would have one. LOL. Wes

Spiderman, I am sorry to hear this. I almost lost my thumb on a table saw in high school.

Thanks everyone. I have a follow-up visit with the surgeon on the 12th. I hope I can return to work at that time and get back to fishing. In the mean time, I will be renting the crime dog out. But don't think he'll talk. He's brothers with the bush bean pup.

    P.S. Until I'm released, I guess I'll have to be a lurker.
