Default Members Only Moderated Fishing Report Forum

Slab (he owns and runs this website) wants to know if we would like a Members Only Moderated Fishing Report Forum. This forum would be for fishing reports only and you would have to be a member with 25 posts to access the forum. Each fishing report would be read by a moderator and approved and then posted. All posts after that would not be moderated but should relate to the fishing report. Please vote in the poll. This gives you a chance to have a forum created for member only fishing reports. I will let Slab know the results. Thanks, Wes

I would like to see the access to this forum be higher than 25 post. I've seen people that have been members for years and only have 25 post and don't contribute much information for the current season. I think it would be more effective if it would be set-up for active members such as " so many post in the last month or so" rather than total post.

I'm new to this forum. One question. If you have to have 25 posts to get access to the forum, how would I be able to get access to the forum if I couldn't post to it?
    Thanks, TomTom.

The 25 posts would be on the regular forums...Then you would be able to see what is posted on the moderated forum.

Tim is right, you would have to be a member of Crappie.com and have at least 25 posts to see the forum and the fishing reports.

I vote no. The reason is if you don't want people to see about your lake and the luck you have had I think is a personal choice. And you can pm a person if you want to tell someone but I enjoy the way it's set up now. Because I look at and read about outher members trip and look at great pictures they post. And most of the time it's at a place that I may never get to fish. And I guess you are trying to hide your honey holes such is fine but there are people out there that mark everywhere the see a boat catch a fish. And you can't stop that. Besides let's leave it open to everyone. And if you need a special place. Maybe send slab $25.00 a year so you can get on there that way you will know they are real members of this website
