Almost a duplicate of 1/24 with a little less wind in the am....
Lake level had inched up a bit.
828.5 FEET
A little clearer than two days ago more stained than muddy.
Morning overcast/windy out of the NW
Noon mostly cloudy/windy out of the NW
Mid Afternoon mostly sunny/windy out of the NNW
Evening Sunny calm/light breeze
Water temps 43-44
Early bite was hitting pumpkinseed/ chartreuse
Noon bite after the sun burned through started producing on yellow/white and bubblegum/chartruse
Afternoon bite went back to pumpkinseed/chartreuse
Fish were holding again in about 21-24 FOW
Early they were hitting 8-10 ft.
Afternoon seemed to push them down into the thermocline and we started picking up fish 12-16 ft.
20+ day with a lot of throw backs.......
Managed 9 keepers and 1 mortally hooked 8 incher.
These decided they love hot grease!

Someone once asked me: "Aren't you concerned with all the gaps in your work history due to fishing?"
My response: "I am more concerned about the gaps in my fishing history due to work!"
