I am thinking about Blackshear but West Point is calling my name. I am hooked up and ready to go. Guess I will make the decision when my feet hit the floor in the morning. Don, I sent you a PM.
Not gonna be able to go Friday. Heard Blackshear put out some really good ones before the front came through. Heard the Hooch got a lot of rain on the NW side. Crescent was good this week but front may knock'm back a little. Eufaula was decent in the rain yesterday with a 2lbs 14 oz hawg to top of my buddy's cooler. I am headed to Harris Chain next week so I will save my $$ & may go to Blackshear Sat or Sun. Or I may just go shoot a pig for the grill. Ya'll have fun and post some reports.

Got my batteries charged in the boat and my Christmas tree concreted in a bucket to sink in my usual area. Going to pull out for the hour and 45 minute ride to Oconee at 5am tomorrow morning. I am ready
mountian man... I'm prob headed to oconee in am, but really concerned that where I wanted to go would be messed up by the rain!....may have to go for a quick look see this am before jigs and I hit Jackson today
Made it down to Crescent today.....At least 20-25 mph winds. Supposed to be 10-12 tomorrow. Going out for pot luck with no pre fishing then headed back home. Gonna be a LONG day!!!!!
Earl, sorry you didn't get to go today, but it was good to see and talk with Cuz at BPS. Good to see him feeling better and ready to fish.
Well at least you picked a good to boat to go to Crescent. Those two can flat out catch big fish. You better be ready with the net is all I am gonna say!Quote:

I hope the rain hasn't messed up oconee either golf pro. I remember in my younger days when we lived in that area if you had a good rain it muddied her up pretty good. Not that a little stain is bad or anything but sometimes its just plain muddy.
