Blackshear Sunday Morning (13 Jan 13)
Had a belated Christmas and JJ came home for three days. Managed to go to Blackshear Sunday Morning. We fished the flats in 16 - 20 feet of water. Our best combo was double jigs (Litewirehooks) and a #7 Piece of lead in the middle. We had a great time and was back home before 2:00 PM. We did visit Leroy's Bait and Tackle while we were at Blackshear.

A friend of mine fished the upper end of the lake and into the river today and caught a lot of fish today with some pretty good ones in the mix. Water color was only a light stain. He was trolling using a Black/Blue/Chartreuse jig for best results....Guess I'll have to try it Saturday weather permitting!!
