    A life long friend of mine and I went fishing yesterday and cought 45 crappie before 10am. Most of them were small but we did have around 10 or 12 really nice ones. I took my dad this morning and we also ended up with 45 but we had around 20 nice size slabs. Both times we cought them tight lining minnows. We were in 30ft of water and the crappie seemed to be hanging between 12 to 27ft. The big slabs are few and far between but they are there and biting. Seems like the big slabs are litely hitting and the smaller ones are really agressive. Good luck to the tourney fishermen this coming Saturday. I think the winning weight will be for 7 fish is gonna be around 9.3lbs and lunker around 2.01lbs. Good luck and GOD Bless.
