Default Hint of Fall on the Hill

Fall is defintely in the air on Clark Hill. Lake is showing signs of fall turnover, but it did not hurt the bite this morning. Caught and released 30+ good crappie slow reeling 1/32 kalin jigs. Only fished two colors, acid rain and green hornet, and both caught their share of fish. Key was to slow it down to a crawl and let the jig bump the brush. Most caught in 15-20 feet around old wood. Be careful, lake is starting to reveal some of its oldest submerged standing trees, and many are just below the surface. Bite should just get better as we get into the full swing of fall. Just need some rain to the north to get the level back in better shape.
