Been working on some stuff and took some of it to Blackshear today. Gave the cranks a rest and went and worked in the shade of the bridge while seeing how the stuff acted in the water. Most importantly, looking to see how the fish liked the stuff. Well it works. Didn't catch a bunch but did catch quality. Ended the day with 9 nice fish and a couple average fish too. The whites are starting to put on some weight as well they should because I haven't found a spot on Blackshear yet that doesn't have a trillion shad near the surface and down deep. Mayflies were popping up too. Plenty for the fish to eat right now. The weights for the September 22 tournament should be pretty good. Got some modifications to do, but overall it felt great to catch fish on some things that I made with my own two hands. More to come when I get them the way I want them.
Here is a pic of the fish to get ya'll in the mood to go catch some.
