    Default Oconee July 28th 2012

This posting is a little late, but I thought I would give a summery report on the fishing on Lake Oconee.
We went on the night of the 28th. Put in at Sugar Creek and went to an area where the fish attractors are.
My nephew started catching crappie right away. That was about 7pm, and soon we were all catching them. We
caught 23 total and a couple of catfish. They were at around 14 to 16 feet and hitting minnows. I didn't take any pics,
the size wasn't anything to brag about anyway. The biggest being around 10inches.
We decided to wait 'til it gets cooler to go back. Sometime around mid September I guess. Maybe then I can give a better report.

Sounds like the catch was worth the effort. 23 is plenty for a good fish fry. Congrats and thanks for the report.
