Thread: several things wrong with this pic!

1. Wrong species 2. He caught it on purpose by tying on a shad rap 3. NO NOT THAT ROD!
but beings he's my son I'll let him slide this time! (Sun was in his eyes and the fish was biting him is the reason for the face he's making )

Maybe the face I made when gtojoe lost that slabzilla monsta right at the boat on tournament day! People that live in that cove probley still ain't over the profanity they heard that day!

That looks like the sharpshooter. Boys got good taste in rods. And I would say he's a chip off the old block bringing that in on your favorite rod. We may need him at our next tournament.

I must say he is one heck of a fishermen to be 7. There some very small fry that just hatched in our pond, he was riding his bike and seen them LM busting the fry,he threw down the bike came running in garage climbs. Into my boat gets my sharpshooter ...finds shad rap ties it on (don't know where he found shad rap) runs down there and catches this one first cast! Caught several more after that ....I was almost like" hey dude let me reel one in!"

I am sure they have heard fisherman language before. A two pounder would have been awesome at that tournament.
