Oconee Dammar

My Buddy TimBo wants to go fishing dammar so I said I would go wid him as da nu War Eagle is not quite ready. We are gonna put in at Long Shoals.

Anybody been up in that area lately?

I would like to push but 15 MPH winds make pushing a little hard.

I went last Thursday. Put in at Long Shoals and fished all the way to sugar creek. Almost a full tank of gas for less than 10 fish. Getting expensive for only so few..lol But they should be getting close with all the warm weather. Good luck

Went to Oconee on 2-28 caught 18 on the Apalachee arm in 4 to 9 foot of water using different color jigs.

We started out in Double Creek and caught 3 long line trolling but the wind was kicking our butt. We tried to fine cover from the wind in the back of coves and creeks. We pulled out the cane poles and tied on minnows and the rest is another memory.

The water was 60 degrees at start and warmed to 62,,,,,but the back of those coves and creeks was 64-65..We caught some really nice fish in 5 FOW fishing 3 foot deep. The water was clear up the Richland Creek arm.

There will be some really nice fish caught in the next tow weeks,,,,be there.
