Thread: Lanier??

Am taking next week off work and hope to fish my tail off. I have fished Oconee for the last 10+ years - good days and bad ones - and would like to broaden my horizons. I live in the metro ATL area and was thinking about going to Lanier and possibly Allatoona. I don't see much posted here about either of those two lakes. Any suggestions?

go north and shoot docks. the docks in the pockets off the river seem to be the best. skip a minnow tipped popeye jig as far as you can under the dockand work it back slow. good luck
