Just got back from Eufaula. Good trip, I'm tired! Here's a picture we took yesterday. Glad to have some for the freezer.

Nice fish. I love Eufaula but too far for my budget.

I havent fished Eufalua in the last 5 years.Always enjoyed that lake. What part of Eufalua did you fish? I always liked Rood creek & drag nasty. Glad you enjoyed.

It has been about 2 years since I was at Eufaula myself. My buddy and I used to go over there in January and early February each year before the fish got started at Oconee. We always did well in the Rood Creek area, especially in the Witch's Den. Sometimes we would catch them deep on the channel edge if the current wasn't too strong.

Good deal! What were water temps? North end or main lake? I sure hope I can get a minute to go before the end of March.

Shine, Me and the wife were on the north end friday the 17th and the water temps ranged from 53 to 58. Managed six before I found out I need a new trolling motor battery.
