Default Trolling motor quick release plates

I have two boats that I would like to swap trolling motor back and forth between. I was wondering if any of you guys do this and what is the best way to accomplish this. I want to buy one nice I-pilot trolling motor and use it on my pontoon boat and my 15 ft sticksteer at different times. Thanks for any input. Andy

Andy you're gonna have to buy two complete quick release setups, both the same, and make sure you get a shaft length on the motor that will work with both boats.

I have this one on my boat. Pull the cotter pin, take out the handle and switch the motor over. You can lock it with a master lock to secure it against theft.

+1...this is the one I have and I use the pad lock. Quick, easy, secure.
