    NICE slab Rusty. Good to see you got the picture thing figured out too. Look forward to A LOT MORE pics from you. I gotta agree on that being a white crappie. Vertical bars and the black spot on the gill plate area point to a white crappie. Counting the fin spines would be the next step, but it looks like that one was going to be wearing a brown jacket soon. No matter white or black, its a really good fish any day of the year.

    I agree that its leaning towards a white crappie but reason I thought at first it was a black one was the fin count of 8.
