If you are thinking about using one of these "Tricks", talk to your local Warden. Many of the old guys want them flat heads out of our river systems. They say this thing will work in lakes where you have a good flow in small creeks. Water must be above 70 degrees, they say.

And large fish are fun on crappie rods, I caught this huge gar on a 8ft BnM Jig Pole last April while trolling. The gar in that particular lake love a 1/16 white hot grub with a pink head.
