Kieth and I had the bright idea of prefishing today. Turned out it was a pretty good idea. We kept about 40 and threw back i guess around 10. It was a pleasant surprise to actually catch like that. The water temps ranged from 38-43. The fish were already on the flats getting ready for the spawn. Hopefully Kieth will post some pics.
The only bad part of the day was the drive home. Normally it takes about an hour for me to get home. Today it took 4 and a half hours. That was absolutely the most scared I've ever been driving. The boat was pushing me down ice covered hills and pulling me back down the hills I was trying to go up. I will definitely be investing in a four wheel drive.
To heck with work, lets go fishing.
Sounds like a great day.Glad you made it home without any accidents.

Can't see the fish, but you can see the snow. That was my first time fishing in the snow. If we catch fish like that when snowing, I'll be fishing EVERY time it snows. Next time I'll have a 4x4 :D
