Was thinking of giving Oconee a try for the first time - spread my wings from Blackshear a little bit. Anyone been lately or heard any reports. Where would you put in at? Any advice appreciated.

How did you know that. It is clear as chocolate milk. Seriously, wait for a warming trend before heading our way. Right now it will leave a bad taste in your mouth. It has been the Dead Sea for months. We are on the eve of some fine fishing. Go to Perry this weekend to get rid of the cabin fever, and put the money you will have spent pulling there on a new fishing rod and reel. Some Jiffy Jigs, Kalin, AWD,Southern Pro Hot Grubs would be nice as well. CCGA I will jaw at you when I hear of or start getting the Oconee bite.

Much appreciated Countrytime - guess I will go play in the mud at Blackshear another weekend - Im going to hit Perry on the way home tomorrow afternoon. Work in Warner Robins and live in Cordele - makes it convenient when they have something going on in Perry.
