anybody been to blackshear lately.i havn;t heard any news good or bad in a few weeks now.the last i heard it was a mess.

I went Sunday and put in at Smoak Bridge. It was a heavy stain at the bridge but cleared up in the channel before the main lake. The main lake was muddy and they had the gates wide open. I turned around and fished the channel. Caught 12 and kept 5. I had cabin fever and had to get out. Only saw a couple other boats. If the lakes clear up then we will see some happy posters on here. It has been a hard fall and winter for a crappie fisherman. It could be worse... we could be stationed in Iraq. (I couldn't spell Afghanistan):o

thanks for the report jarhead. you are so wright about the irac/afganistan deal.those are some special pepole fighting for our right to fish is what it comes down to.many thanks to the ones who are serving and to the ones who have in the past.hope this dosn;t need to be on the other site..........stricknine
