Jig Head Colors

Any suggestions on a color for THE ORANGE BOWL thAt we are fishing in tommorow? Commonly known as SINCLAIR!

Good one. At least I can find you on the lake. It does blind you a little.

I myself switched to unpainted heads. When I was tying and selling I painted the heads cause they looked good. Hey I had to catch the fisherman and the painted heads do just that.
I have not seen a difference in the bite.
Thats little 1/32 head is mighty little for a fish to see. I think action from the tail is more important anyway

Unpainterd heads and usually red hooks.

Most of the time it does not matter I catch fish on the four or five colors I use. But I have seen days where they would only hit a black head for example. The same exact curly tail on the jigs but one color jig head is getting bit and the other colors are not. I usually have thirteen to fifteen poles out of my boat so it doesn't take long to see one color is making a difference. But 95 percent of the time the jig head color does not matter but the weight and the type lure does especially early in the year.
