Meeting with Biologist and DNR

Wanted to let everyone know that myself and a few others from this board held our first meeting with the Biologist and DNR yesterday in Perry. The objective of this meeting was to find out what we could do to help improve the Crappie population on some of our local waters. The lakes that where discussed in this meeting where as followed. Sinclair, Tobesofkee, Jackson, Oconee and Blackshear. They have ask for us to help them with info on these lakes. If you fish these lakes and would like to help us send me a pm and I will go in more detail with the info they are looking for and what you can do to help. Thanks John Rozier

I'm not sure I'd qualify what I've been doing on Tobosofkee as "fishing one of these lakes".... It's more like just hanging out, sight seeing and boat riding while dodging the pleasure craft.

I talked with Joe for quite sometime and he filled me in. Sounds like it's gonna be tough and the cycle is some what on the low side.

I'll do my part... but first I've got to actually CATCH one.

pm,s sent and Jeff that is the info we are needing to show. How many times we go and not catch a fish . Along with the times we do. Just keep track of how long you where out on that trip and get it to me it will help. Thanks
