    Default Allatoona Sat

Well I can't offer much of a report but I did get on the water this morning. I have not been out since the week before Thanksgiving. Lots of Ice on the water. Kellog Creek is completely iced up. I put in at Galts and still lots of Ice. Looked like the bass boys were running toward the dam where I would guess less Ice is. The water temp was 33.

Ok to be honset I weny to play with my new Fish Finder. I got it the first week of Dec but just last night got the transducer installed. The HB side / down imaging is amazing. (Thankfull - I can't wait to cruise by some of those boat docks and see whats under them) I can say my new HB will pick up all kinds of floating Ice at the surface and below. I also found one huge tree in a place I've crossed 50 times before.

I hope the photo is attached correctly. I'm sure ready for warmer water and weather. I got home just as the rain started at my place.

Hey if the water gets a little warmer in a couple of weeks, maybe we can get the toona boys together, eat some breakfast, then spread out and eliminate some water. Its been a long time since the lake iced over makes long lineing tough for us southern boys.
